The Donnini family has been producing leather gloves since 1919. Steps from Ponte Vecchio, their shop opened in 1954 on via Guicciardini is still run today by the family’s third-generation.

4. A bottle of Tuscan Malt Whisky from Winestillery
In the Chianti Classico region nearby Florence, the Chioccioli Altadonna family merged a winery with a distillery to create a unique production of wines and spirits. Their Tuscan Malt Whisky is distilled in their family estate and matured in Tuscan oak barrels that have previously contained fine Tuscan wine.

7. An acquaforte from L’Ippogrifo
Founded in 1977, L’Ippogrifo specialized in fine art etchings using a 500-years-old engraving technique from the Renaissance. From still life to views of Florence countryside, their hand-painted stamps produced in limited editions make great unique art pieces to gift.

8. Table linens from Loretta Caponi
The festive season calls for beautiful table settings. Loretta Caponi is a master in this field with their delicate placemats and tablecloths sets embroidered in Florence since 1967.

9. Scented wax tablets from Officina Santa Maria Novella
How elegant are these scented wax tablets hand-crafted in Florence imagined to add a delicate perfume to your wardrobes and drawers.

10. A marbled paper workshop
Learn about this mesmerizing ancient technique to decorate paper and get a unique creation personalized for your loved ones in this bookbinding shop of Santo Spirito.

11. Inside Florence by Livia Frescobaldi
Published this year, this beautiful coffee table book takes his reader on a journey through Florence historical palaces and artisan workshops.

12. A homemade jam from the Certosa di Firenze
This majestic monastery on the hills of Galluzzo minutes from Florence historical center still produce its own jams, olive oil and liquors. Guided tours are organized from Tuesday to Sunday to visit the charterhouse.

13. A framed photography from Torrini Photojournalism
Gift a printed photography from the photojournalist Giulio Torrini who founded one of the oldest photographic agency in Florence back in 1944. Their archives count over 3 million negatives and digital photographs from Florence in the 50s to the present days.

14. A handmade hat from Grevi
The Grevi family has been in the straw and hat industry since 1875 for over four generations. Today they continue to create unique pieces for cinema and theatre.

15. A Negroni bottle from the Loggia Roof Bar
Back in 1919, Count Camillo Negroni asked to strengthen his usual americano by replacing soda water with gin and the lemon garnish with an orange peel to distinguish the drink from its previous version. Over 100 years later, it is one of the world’s most popular cocktail and the Florentine drink par excellence. The bottled version of the Loggia Negroni cocktail was thought as an original souvenir of Florence to give or gift yourself.

16. A crystal piece from Studio Bojola
Specialized in interior and product design, this florentine studio has recently opened its first shop within Florence historical center where you can find their ceramic and crystal creations merging art and local craftsmanship.

17. Antonio Mattei Biscuits
Often served as a dessert in the florentine trattorias with Vin Santo, these iconic biscuits with almonds come in a nice tin box perfect to bring as gift to friends and family dinners.
